At Koushalya Spices, he leads the company’s strategic operations, overseeing procurement, packaging and quality assurance. His deep industry knowledge and close engagement with farmers and primary producers enable the company to deliver authentic, high-quality spices that meet global standards.

Mr. Vivek Katkar is the Founder of OV Impex, a company committed to connecting global buyers with reliable and certified Indian manufacturers. He also leads the export division at Koushalya Spices Export Company, with which OV Impex maintains a formal joint venture agreement, expanding their combined strength in the global agri-trade industry.
Backed by a strong engineering background, Mr. Katkar began his professional journey in the oil and gas sector, spending 14 years with a Singapore-based firm catering to international clients. His work placed him on offshore construction vessels around the world, where he collaborated with leading companies in the global energy sector. These international assignments equipped him with deep insights into global operations, logistics management and cross-border trade practices.
Through his extensive travels, he recognized India’s growing potential as a reliable sourcing destination for high-quality products. Motivated by this vision, he founded OV Impex in 2022 with the objective of making international trade with India more transparent, dependable and efficient.
In his role at Koushalya Spices Export Company, Mr. Katkar applies his global exposure, technical expertise and comprehensive understanding of Indian markets to offer seamless and trustworthy import-export solutions to clients across the world.
